    xbox360 internal storage broken after update


    I have xbox360 E with 4Gb of internal storage. A few weeks back update was pushed to my console. Since then my internal storage AKA "Memory unit" in the Storage settings reports 10Mb free but there is nothing on it. Due to this I cannot use my console pretty
    much at all. Anyone has an idea what happened or how to troubleshoot?

    My downloaded game wont play

    BLACK when i start the game it say you need to attach a xbox360 storage device to play original games

    go to xbox.com/games

    i have a 350gig storage external and 3 gig internal

    first downloaded it on the external after that on the internal but just keep getting this bull xbox360 internal storage broken after update :(

    Xbox 360 Slip 4 GB S Update Failure - Can't Connect to Xbox Live

    Try to skip update, then perform some small file deletion on internal storage. Reboot the xbox afterwards. After rebooting the file is still there. That is happening with my xbox

    Seems that update in Dec set some flag on internal storage so there are no write permissions any more

    I can use the dashboard no problem. However if I go to the storage settings my memory unit shows size 3GB but free space 10MB. Tried clearing system cache, formatting, rolling back the update several times but nothing helps

    Updates for the console itself will only install on the internal storage, and updates for games will only install where the games are stored. So if the game is installed on the internal storage, then the update for that game will install on the internal storage. You cannot pick and choose where an update is installed.
