    Xbox360 games on Xbox one


    I am sorry if this has been asked before but I purchased and downloaded all episodes of a game on Xbox 360, the first episode is now free to download on Xbox one but they want payment for the rest of the episodes, assistance please.

    This is really not looking good.
    Personally, I say that if you want to play these Xbox360 games, buy/keep an Xbox360 to play them on.
    I want to see dedicated Xbox One games, not remasters of Xbox360 games.
    As @kav said, this gen doesn't want to become just a shiny remake generation.
    I'd rather further sequels to last gen games than seeing them re-hashed.

    Ok you have to remember xbox 360 and xbox one games are considered seperate purchases so even though you bought the 360 version you don't get the one version free

    You can only redownload the game if it's backwards compatible and that would.be the 360 version

    No, it will not work, first, you will not be able to plug your Xbox360 with your XboxOne with a HDMI cable. Secondly, even if you could plug the two Xbox, your XboxOne will be seen as a TV for your xbox360. And finnally, at the end, you still must have an
    xbox360 for the xbox360 games, and the xbox one for the XboxOne games.

    Play Rare Replay on xb 360

    I got Rare Replay to and have a Xbox360 as well. Rare Replay install all Xbox360 and XBL-Arcade games separatly on the xbox one, you can start these games directly from your library.

    It behaves like a purchased game from the store, usually the compatible Xbox360 games are also still playable on the old xbox360 with the same account.

    But not with the Xbox360 and XBL Games from Rare Replay, these licenses are not transferred as usual for the Xbox360.

    Unlike you, I have some favorite Xbox360 games that I'll keep and play forever. How can Xbox One claim to consolidate your home entertainment setup if you are required to have an Xbox One for future games AND an Xbox360 for your existing collection of games?
