    Dear Microsoft

    My xbox 360 came up with a xbox live error after entering a new gamertag that cost £6.79

    status code: 80153051

    I searched up the status code and it didn't come up as a status code please tell me what it means.

    But, there is a good thing i got a refund at least.

    And Microsoft i have a question why do charge so much for a gamertag?

    I think its silly and so do a lot of people i know are the same...just for a name.

    Hi XboxLive Enforcement Team,

    The reason why I'm sending you a message today is because I was

    playing Battlefield Bad Company: 2 with a bunch of friends, and while I

    was playing and sending them invites to play within the Party Chat, they

    said that my Gamertag was changed to while inside the

    game, my old Gamertag remained. It used to be [Mod Removed]. I

    actually paid 800 Microsoft Points for it back in the days and right now, I

    am actually stuck with a bad name that I don't like at all, so what I'm

    wondering is: ''Why was [Mod Removed] accepted one year ago, and

    then one year after is changed out of nowhere ?'' Can you guys please

    do something about it and atleast give me back my points/money so I

    can change it to a new one that I liked, because I did not choose to

    change it to and actually, my old Gamertag has been

    accepted back in the days, so I don't understand why I would have to be

    punished about it.

    If you violate the ToU or the CoC for Gamerags, the system will automatically choose a new one for you.

    Nope you should read the terms of use what you had was a clear violation of the terms of use

    You should take the rules more seriously

    Hiding the last part in short form does not excuse it

    And is one way to get pastt the word filter

    Fyi multiple name changes will only earn you a perm suspension of your account

    If you don't see what is wrong with your name you clearly never reaad the terms of use

    The short form

    Your name must be rate d E for everyone

    It does not matter how long you had it it is when someone reports your name is when it is looked at

    Live life and play fair

    And you can post in the suspension forum for official answer

    Xbox360 Gamertag changes.

    It was was probally never changed becuase the enforcement team was dealing with other tags and finally got to your on their list. Mofo is a type of profanity no matter what slang you use. That's probally why it was changed.

    Also, you might want to remove your email and phone number from this post. No personal info should be posted on public forums. Never give any of this information out. It could cause problems for you in the future.

    This is the new way for gamertags. When you change Gamertag you will have no choice but to have the 4 digits at the back of it.

    If you still have a XBox360 you can use the 360 and do a gamertag change on there and achieve what you want.
