Xbox360 E Fan issue??? Not working in games, but working in dashboard

I need some help with my xbox360 E console. It is almost 2 years old. It runs 10-15hours per month. I play only when I have time. But when I play, I play for 2-3 hours.

Yesterday I got strange artefacts on display in the game and lost of sound on TV and receiver. The game run normally but there was artefacts. When I went to dashboard, the text had blinking blue pixels and icons blinked. Sound didn't work at all. Then I
normally shut down xbox with xbox controller and waited for 10-15min to cool. Then I tried again. Sound was working normally, no corruption. Games played normally. When I tried the console with my hand, I would say that temperature was between 60-75.C. I didn't
have any problems whatsoever with my console this year. The room temperature was 23.C. When I played in the summer it was 24-27.C, with no problems.

The strange thing is. When I play games, I do not hear that the fan is working at all. When I get back to dashboard, the fan starts 100% and is blowing hot air. I do not think this is normal. I had in my memory that the fan was working in games and in dashboard
(when you stop playing). Is the fan a bug in the nevest firmware?

Do I need a repair my console??

Can somebody try and report back, if it is normal for xbox E version, that fan is ventilating and hearable only when you stop playing and you get back in dashboard?

Game not working

I just bought my used xbox360 original. I bought one game witch is Halo Reach. Everytime I put it in, it says it's a DVD. When I press it, it says XBOX360 and it stays there, but I can still get back to home. I tried everymethod, especialy the ones that
were listed. Thank you so much if you reply.

 

games installing but not working

I have COD Ghosts, Forza, and Battlefield. COD just stopped working so I uninstalled it and pre-installed it...4 TIMES! Then it just miraculously started working again?! I thought maybe it was the game, but now it's doing the same thing with Forza. It
is frustrating to no end. Please fix this or I'm going e-bay and this can be someone else's problem. I didn't get the Xbox to just watch movies and TV!!!

 

It does sound as though a repair of the console is needed. However, double check to make sure that your console has enough space to vent as well. There should not be anything around the console and it should not be in an enclosed area.

Yesterday I unplugged whole TV system including xbox from power through the night.

In the morning I went to my neighbour, who has air compressor to blow the dust out. (very small amount of dust).

Than I plug everything back and played for 7 hours with no problems. My friend who had xbox360 and now he has xboxOne came to visit me, and said that this is normal working temperature for 360.

But I found potential problem with electric distribution. On my server who has UPS. The UPS logged at the same time which this artefact showed, that the voltage dropped under 205V. Why this happened, I do not know? I hope this was the problem.

I will see in the long run what was the cause.

 

Idk but my dam consome gets hyper like it had redbull the xbox 360 starts goingcrazy like my one it start going really loud and disc or fan starts going really fast its scares me the dam thing is *** thats y i got a xbox 1

 

How old is the E? Perhaps it's in need of a repair.

 

It sounds like there are problems in dissipating heat. I suggest ceasing use of the console and sending it in for repair. Further use could cause further damage.
