    XBOX360 Controller can't connect until I restart my PC


    This is a recent issue on my PC.

    I have an XBOX360 Wireless Gamepad and an XBOX360 Wireless Receiver for PC on my
    Windows 10 PC (Up-to-date, ALL drivers and updates).

    This issue happens since last week.

    When I turn on my PC; the Receiver (automatically) and the Gamaped
    (manually)     opens up. But they can't connect.

    Changing batteries,

    retrying to sync,

    unplugging-plugging the USB... still.

    But when I try to restart my PC, just before it goes to the black screen, they connected properly. And after the restart, until I disconnect my controller again,
    It works fine just like before.

    The thing I noticed was when I open the controller, its lights are blinking very fast for a 4-5 seconds
    (all 4 of its lights-full circle I mean), and then the same lights blinking slowly after all
    (still full circle-4 of them). But the receiver's lights are steady as before
    (like it is connected). But the reality is they're not connected.

    OK i tried everything. Restarted WMC on PC and XBOX360. Restart PC and XBOX360. Still i can't manage to stream videos and music on XBOX360 through WMC. I can only stream pictures. And still i haven't manage to see ONLINE MEDIA section in WMC at the XBOX360.
    Maybe im doin something wrong i don't know

    Is your headset by any chance connected to your controller? If so then it's because the Xbox360 controller is not optimized to have a headset connected to it when it's connected to a pc

    I can't really find much, only this
    support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc     which you have probably already done/seen.

    Can you find the driver on your pc and delete it, then restart your pc and plug the controller back in and get a clean install of the driver again.
