    Xbox360 Battlefield 4 will not play multiplayer


    Xbox360 Battlefield 4 will not play multiplayer game. It just freezes on the rain scene.

    I have deleted the game/cache and reloaded trying various methods but it still does not work. I have been in touch with EA but no joy and with Game (who I bought it from).

    This is very disappointing as it was a Christmas present. All other online play works ok.

    Poor showing from EA.

    Other than give up on this game anyone else got any tips on getting it to work?

    Help

    Yes you need Xbox Live Gold membership to play Battlefield 4 multiplayer. Infact you need gold to play all games on multiplayer.

    you need a gold membership to play any online multiplayer 360 games you are on a silver free account.

    my gold membership renewed automatically in December and Microsoft sent a receipt

    DICE/EA has said that there is a freezing error/glitch in this version game that will be fixed in the next patch coming in the next week

    It currently shows that you have a silver account. In order to play online multiplayer over Xbox LIVE, you must have a Gold Subscription.

    Well are you sure you are playing on the same account? It actually does say you are running on a Silver membership.

    Spoke to 2 different people at Microsoft and they confirmed their is nothing wrong with my GOLD account - it renewed in December as normal. I can access absolutely everything online apart from Battlefield 4

    have you tried removing your gamertag from your console and redownload again?

    Xbox360 Battlefield 4 will not play multiplayer

    EA took it down to work on the Net-codes. Connecting was difficult and the game was full of glitching issues.

    It should be fine now after the last update.
