XBOX1X KEEPS CRASHING ON BATTLEFEILD 5

I bought this new 4 k xbox1x back in november 2018 Ive been playing battlefeild 5 that is all i play online ,it is a digital download I keep having issues with it i guess you can call it crashing, it will buzz like 2 times and return to the home screen
,the game will start then it will buzz and return to screen but sometimes it will work for hours but tonight it had to do it like 6 times and I gave up. Could this be a bad download? I already did the reset and clear the mac address thing and it still crashes
and returns to the home screen. This thing cost me 500 bucks I could have just built a new pc and this is getting pretty frustrating,like I said sometimes I can play for hours without a problem and sometimes it just takes a crap. Does any body else have this
problem ? and can I uninstall battlefield5 and reinstall it and not lose all my stuff with the game if i uninstall it and reinstall it.Like I said before it buzzes like 2 times then it goes back to the start screen if that has anything to do with it any help

Thanks Hood Im going to try uninstalling and reinstalling today and see if that does it I just dont want to lose my progress

Hi Thanks for the reply this has been doing it probably since i owned the game probably I think maybe 3 months , this even happens when Im not playing online battlefield5 , I have a couple other games but have never had a problem with them like farcry5
doom ect but i dont play online with them just the campaigns,battlefield is all I play online multiplayer and that even crashes sometimes in the campaign mode but not all the time its weird and frustrating ,Im 65 and been playing on pc for years and I just
switched to consule instead of building a new pc so im new to this xbox1x thing lol but im getting the hang of it these controllers are like having a baseball mit on lol compared to the mouse and keyboard,but anyway I guess I will try and uninstall and reinstall
the game,I will ask my son to help me .Thank you for the fast reply and I will let you know if that corrected it and one more thing I read about maybe overheating is that possible? My console is clean no dust but I did read about that somewhere .Thanks again

If you uninstall Battlefield 5 you will not lose any progress you have made in the game so there is no worry there if that is the route you choose to take, I would recommend trying a couple things first. The first thing I would suggest is doing a hard reset
of your console, you don't need to worry you wont lose anything by doing this, turn off your xbox, unplug the power from the console, wait about 15 seconds and then plug it back in and turn on your xbox, you should be greeted with a green screen with the logo
on it, you will sit there on that screen for a few seconds, let it run its course and when you get to the home screen you should be good to go, give battlefield a try and see if it worked.

That usually fixes most issues I ever have with my xbox. Other than that I would check to make sure that your xbox is updated.

So, I recently bought Battlefield 5 aswel, and to be honest I was having this issue aswell. a reinstall of the game fixed it for me, but also keep in mind that the online servers of battlefield had been down over the weekend which may have contributed
to this issue.
