    I have tried literally everything from CMD, diskpart, chkdsk, diskpart clean, completely wipe and delete the partition and reformat NTFS. Tried disk manager, made sure it's MBR type and my Xbox one
    will not see my 3.0 Flash Drive 2TB 480mbps as a game installation storage option and even better it won't let it set as capture location says it's too slow...... Please help I'm at a loss

    The standard transfer speed for 3.0 tech is 640 MBps, but yeah, the only true 2TBs are usually around $1,000, so OP is better off buying a 2TB ex-SSD, as they're not much bigger and still connect via
    a USB cable.
    Exactly. My guess is they've bought a fake drive from the web, either from a private seller on eBay or Amazon or perhaps they used the terrible wish.com website.

    Either way the drive will be fake. Plug it into a PC and it will indeed say 2TB, but it only says that because the microcontroller has been modified to give the incorrect capacity. Most of these drives are actually 8 - 16GB. But, I've seen some that literally
    have no flash storage on them at all!

    Hi there,

    It sounds like you may need to invest in another flash drive with a higher speed.
    There is no Flash drive out there that can go anywhere near 480mb/s. And as I said previously, the drive is fake. A 2TB Flash drive would be extremely expensive.

    I run 2 5TB external HD on my xbox and theybare seagates. Both of mine paired soo as they were connected!

    You can try to search if your brand is compatible with the xbox flash drive & Ext HD brands. Some of the cheaper brands ive tried for flash drives it wont recognize them when plugged in to your xbox.

    Hope you can find some answers on the internet or at least return your extra storage device for a compatibly one!
