XBOX1 support/volunteers/poor service.

I am completely disappointed in the support i received(didn't) for an under warranty controller. I was told by the support person one would be shipped to me, and weeks later I find out I'm suppose to ship it to them at my cost! The second support person
I followed up with was a complete incompetent. I provided the case number and was told.. "Oh yes we received your controller and the new one is on its way ". When I pointed out I never shipped one they got nasty, almost like they actually had to look up
the case number and mad were busted lying. They definitely lost me as a customer from this point on. Not buying that Surface or any additional One games if that's how Microsoft's support works. #MAGA

Rumor, MS is expanding voluntary tech supports

The short story is.... You can volunteer to be an ambassador and give tech support. Which is already done. But, MS is reportly training these free volunteers to answer more questions.

The concern is, MS may be reducing paid customer service reps because many questions will be handled by the volunteers.

The expectation is, at one point, they will just fire up a PowerPoint slide showing you how most people can get the answer they need from the volunteers and start downsizing the paid tech supports or freeze the expansion. It isn't the first time MS uses telemetry and statistics to show low interests of certain functionalities or services to drive their business decisions. So, if this ambassador program goes well, it is likely going to affect the future of Xbox customer service department.

POOR, POOR, SERVICE

Enough is enough. After four days of patiently waiting for you to fix an obvious problem on your end (if all of the other postings by frustrated customers are to be believed), I"ve decided to go elsewhere for my games.

There are more than enough other sites to access (more easily) than Microsoft and I will be happy to say goodbye to your lack of attention to site maintenance. I had only stayed due to an evidently misplaced sense of loyalty.

Since that loyalty is not reciprocated and/or appreciated, I'm gone.
