xbox1 inital update, can't connect...

Just bought my xbox1 and get home and plug it all in, get as far as setting up the initial connection to xbox live and it tells me there is a DHCP error, or that it can't connect tto my DHCP. I've tried all the guide fixes and browsed the forums and seen
no solution. Can anyone help or advise?

Oh and ps. I have a 360 and that connects just fine :/

When exactly does XboxOne require net connection?

You only need internet for the inital set up. Once you update, you can play the console offline.

 

Campaign Coop connection time out Xbox 1 to Xbox 1

Since nov. 1 update unable to play campaign coop between xbox1's. host connects ok but friend always times out and is removed. Horde and versus work fine, it is just the campaign that does not connect.
