    Hey Coltin,

    When the party chat is disconnected or says there needs to be changes to your network, usually the Teredo IP address is not being received by your Xbox due to something blocking it. A Teredo IP address is a way to tunnel networks that don't have IPv6 capabilities
    to securely connect to the Xbox Servers. It's a form of firewall security to make sure you are safely connecting to Xbox Live Servers.

    Go to your settings and take a look at the Current Network Status in the middle column. It should display a NAT type which needs to be OPEN for chat connectivity. If it says STRICT or Unavailable, some configurations to the router will need to be made.

    The Xbox1's optical port has to be turned on in settings. If I remember correctly, I haven't tried because my headphones are connected to TVs optical port, but now that Xbox1 multitasks very well I will use netflix on Xbox1 and connect my soundbar back to
    the TVs optical port, and headphones to Xbox1s optical since I only use when gaming. Hope this helps

    It can be that the wifi signal gets weak at the location where you've your Xbox. Does your phone remains connected to internet when its almost at the same location aa your Xbox. Don't just check whether you're still connected to wifi but try to browse
    a site. I'm suspecting you may need to invest in a better router that has longer range and can keep the signal strong.

    Not an option. The router is in the seperate living space next door, its my land lords. His router and internet.
