XBOX1 AC Power Adapter

Hi there. Recently the power brick on my Xbox One has not been turning on. when I plug it into the power strip, the orange light turns on. However, as soon as I plug it into the console the light on the power brick turns
off, and the console does not turn on at all.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issue with a power brick. Are you able to try a different power brick? Also when plugging the brick in try plugging directly into a wall outlet. If a different one works and the original
still doesn't you may need a replacement.

Is the power supply the ac adapter?

Hey OP, sorry to hear about the power issues! Have you tried using that same power supply on a different outlet? If the same issue is occurring there, see if you can borrow a friend's power supply to test with your console. If the same issue does not occur
with a different power supply, please call phone support at 800-4MY-XBOX about a repair for your PSU.

Okay...how about power-cycling your router? To do this:

1. Unplug the AC Adapter from the router.

2. Wait at least 1 minute for the software to shut down.

3. Plug the AC Adapter back in and wait until everything powers up.
