Xbox X & Xbox S User Accounts

Hello. First off I love Xbox! However I need some help.

We have an Xbox X and S and I have a user account.

My son has a user account.

However whenever he wants to play Fortnite he must use my profile since we bought it using my profile. This leads to very bad things as I am wide open security ways....

How do I transfer Fortnite to his profile without losing all of the items he has bought and progression? I need make sure he is beefed up on security and whom he is allowed to chat with.

Can someone please help?

Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

You can set the console he uses as your Home console in order to share games/subscriptions with his account without you needing to be signed in. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

Hi,

The Xbox One and Series X/S does not support local users like the Xbox 360 did. All users need a Live account.

They don't necessarily need a Live subscription. As long as your console is set as your Home console, all other accounts can share your Live sub. You just need to make another account.

I apologize, but the Xbox Series X|S version of Hogwarts Legacy is only playable on Xbox Series X|S. You can confirm this on the store page at https://origin-prod.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/.... The only version that is playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is the Xbox One version of the game.

It is normal for you to have the option to pre-order the Xbox Series X|S version of the game on your Xbox One console. This way, if you decide to upgrade to an Xbox Series X|S in the future, you can simply sign in to your account and download the game to your new console.

Xbox 360 games do not appear to see these users and I'm unable to select them when adding players to 360-games.

User accounts work differently on the 360 (and the 360 emulator on the Xbox One and Series X/S) to the way they do on Xbox One and Series X/S. The 360 had user profiles that needed to be downloaded first.

It's been a while so you'll need to bear with me. If remember you will need to sign in first with this other user you've created, then launch the 360 game. This will download the additional new profile to the console. I think, after this you should be able
to add this player to your game.

No, an Xbox One Disney Infinity 3.0 base will not work on the Xbox Series X/S. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S have different hardware architectures, and the peripherals for one console are not compatible with the other.
