Xbox x will no longer play any movie I own

What error message do you get when trying to play a movie?

Have you already tried doing a factory reset and deleting everything as well? Thanks!

I have tried deleting the movie from my movie list, and re-adding it with the Movies & TV app in the settings, tried a full shutdown of the console and TV itself, tried other movies in my library(they ALL play just fine on my xbox) im only having a problem
with this movie I just bought (Cars 3 + BONUS) on my Xbox One X. It will play fine on my iphone from the Movies Anywhere though.... but im not trying to watch it on my phone if i cant get it to work on the xbox then ill need to request a refund... any other
ideas???

That's exactly what's been happening to me with the loading error telling me to adjust my video quality lower. I got nearly 200 mbps internet speed and every other movie app works just fine. Today, I log in and now the screen will not show the movies i own under My Movies tab and on the other tabs it shows blank movies and it's just black where the movies should show up..

Never had any problems before with

Vudu on any other device but this Xbox series X.

This error code is normally related to the apps needing an update.

Can you go to your My Games & Apps and click on updates to confirm if you have any pending updates.

If you do not please try the Xbox Assist app as this is a great tool to help.

I've tried the same thing . I own 3 xboxes.. same thing over and over. I've been experiencing this problem for a little over a week . Uninstall and re install is not the fix. U can watch previews for the movies.. but repeat error when trying to play any
movie I own.
