    I'll admit I've been binging. Level 50 today. But in the past two sessions my xbox has randomly shut down while in middle of a load screen or right in the middle of playing. I have a backup power supply with an inline voltage regulator so I know it's not my power. I've never had an issue with this before. It's not turning off my AVR, Cable box, or TV either. It just goes from on to off.

    I'm not sure about Borderlands 3, but the developer for Modern Warfare has already confirmed the issue with Xbox One X and the console randomly shutting off when playing that game and are reportedly working on a fix.

    Looks to be an issue with Borderlands GOTY only on the One X.

    I've been playing it on both my Original One and One X and it shuts down randomly only on the One X, with absolutely no issues on my original Xbox One. Others have the exact same issue over at the gearbox forums.

    I am having this same issue with the Xbox 1 X. Having the issue with the same game tonight but it has also been an issue while playing Borderlands 3. Also no error codes before or after the shut off. Game just freezes for about 10 seconds, party chat can
    still be heard and then shut off.
