    Looking at the new systems X and S for a Christmas gift for our kids....they have the 360.. will these games play in either of the new systems?

    Does Lego Dimension for Xbox One work on Xbox One S too

    Good day

    All Xbox one games will work on the One S and the One X. As they are the same generation of console.

    Xbox 360 games that is backward compatible will also play on the Xbox One, S and the X.

    Hi everyone. I would like to upgrade my console from Xbox 360 to Xbox One S and would like to know if:

    1. games released for Xbox 360 and Xbox One X are compatible with Xbox One S?

    2. is Xbox 360 Kinect compatible with Xbox One S?

    You can always refer back to the
    Backwards Compatible     list of games that are available to be played on the Xbox One.

    Ye alot of games will check the backwards compatible list it's updated pretty regular aswell.

    The 360 version of that game is not backwards compatible. The one listed on the list is for the Xbox One and is compatible with the Series S/X.

    The $29 one you saw is the Xbox One version of the game which is backwards compatible with the Series S/X. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.

    Yes, if you purchase the game from the Xbox 360 marketplace, you can play it on the Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

    As for what Hardcore Games said, you can still buy Xbox games for the Xbox 360, and play them on the Xbox 360, and if they are backward compatible, play them on the Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S.
