XBOX X on vertical stand

Discus and support XBOX X on vertical stand in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Is it safe to use a stand to position my XBOX X vertically, or would this cause a problem?     XBOX X on vertical stand


    Is it safe to use a stand to position my XBOX X vertically, or would this cause a problem? The XBOX X does not come with any means to position it this way.

    The original launch Xbox One was only designed to be used horizontally not vertically and it is not recommended to use the console vertically, the newer Xbox One S and Xbox One X however can be used vertically if connected to and
    Official Stand or a third party Microsoft Officially Licenced Accessory stand..

    Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has reported the temperature at the rear of the unit to hit around 68c, which is totally normal and within the tolerance that the the Xbox One One X was designed for.

    I agree with 'Internet Expert' - the machine must be sitting horizontally if you do not have the official Xbox One X vertical stand. Standing the machine vertically without the stand will cover the ventilation holes.

    The vertical stand is sold separately, but yes, it can be vertical.

    If you are not purchasing from the link provided by Smwutches please be careful to make sure you pick one that is listed for Xbox One X as the Xbox One S stand is different.

    plz note that using a vertical stand can cause damage to the CD so use at your own risk

    That was certainly true of the original Xbox One. Thought they were using disk drives in the S and X that work vertically. Hence why they make branded stands, wouldn't do that if it damaged disks etc.

    Hi! yes, the one x can stand vertical but as you said only with a vertical stand. I would recommend buying a licensed product in order to avoid possible damages.
