    Xbox X no video - Any help? Hard reset doesn't work


    Hi all,

    Yesterday, my Xbox turned on fine, but after starting up a game, the controller went sluggish and the game / console seemed to be lagging.

    Turned off the Xbox and tried to restart it, to no avail.

    Sometimes, when powering it up, it immediately turns off by itself.

    Other times, the Xbox seems to turn on fine, but there is no video output. I have tried three different HDMI cables that I know all work (work on AppleTV, for example), but to no avail.

    Also, the controller now seems unpaired, which I find strange.

    I tried a hard reset, i.e. holding the power button and the eject button for 10 seconds, but while the console starts up, it just shuts down after 5 secs. As such, no hard reset seems possible. I also unplugged the power cable for hours and tried if that worked, but it didn't. Booting up in configuration mode (i.e. power button and controller pairing button) also doesn't work.

    Anyone any ideas?? All the help will be appreciated!

    Flashing Xbox symbol

    Since a couple of days I have a problem sort of like this. The X symbol doesn't go away anymore when I play video's using the 'play to' function or play a rented video on Xbox Video. It doesn't flash or flicker it just stays there. I did a hard reset like
    four times but it's still there. Please help me out, I can't find any solution on the net.

    Factory reset xbox one s

    Try a hard reset as other xbox ambassadors have described and if that does not work try searching on youtube for any helpful videos on the subject that may be able to help you out.

    Press the x button for 20 second in to shut off and then wait 30 second to turn on again that hard reset if it doesn't work reset your router

    Hey there press the x button on the Xbox console for 30 seconds and then wait like 20 seconds to turn it on that's hard reset if that doesn't work delete the game and download it again

    Attempt a Hard reset on the console, if this doesn't work Delete the profile off the xbox then re add it on to the console, usually this fixes any issues. if that doesn't work reach out to xbox support!
