    Xbox x freezing


    Has anyone had there X go really unresponsive to the point of freezing and when it does move it makes a groaning high pitch machine gun noise??? Had the problem the last few weeks and wondered if anyone knew the reason??

    xbox one x freezing

    Recently purchased 2 xbix consoles(about a month) both consoles within last 2 days while playing games freeze up such as D2 CoD WWII The division . any one w advice or similar issues ?

    Nothing but problems with my Xbox one x scorpio since day of release. Benn for repair no change still awful.

    I've never heard of the Xbox One X making sounds like that. Maybe your system is defective?

    I'd contact Xbox Support (choose phone or chat) to set up a repair. Or, if it hasn't been long since you bought the Xbox, see if you can get your console exchanged for another unit at whatever
    store you bought it from.

    I am having the same issue. Can't get through parts of COD WW2, because of the freezing. Yes, mine makes that sound also, then kicks me back to start game over. I've reinstalled, rebooted, nothing helps. It always happens in the same spots.

    I have this issue playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. Always at the same spot. Freezing appears and then the Xbox turns off.

    I’ve got this problem as well. I have a Scorpio Edition. I play a lot of Forza. Forza Horizon 3 played perfectly right up until they released the Enhanced Update. Now it’s unplayable. Freezing, making an electric stutter noise then returning to dashboard.
    This happens on every Xbox one x enhanced versions. Forza 7 was the same, as is F1 2017.

    I haven’t upgraded my TV to 4K yet, I have a 50” HD. But this shouldn’t be the reason for this happening.

    Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.

    I'll get the occasional freeze on the One and the X and they both make a loud buzzing sound when they freeze.

    My Xbox freezes as well, except the moment I click the X button to change other than friend rankings it freezes. Not sure how to fix this either. I'm going to try to delete the game then redownload it.
