Make sure that his account is signed out on your Xbox by asking him to follow the steps below:

“Go to Profile & system. Select Add or switch, and then select the profile. Press the Xbox button to open the guide again, select Profile & system, select Sign out, and then select the account.”

You could try a power cycle and see if that sorts the issue out?

If you happen to be inquiring about Xbox One home console sharing, which allows an account to share games and subscriptions to an
Xbox One console and therefore allowing any account to sign in and use said content, then the IP address would not be the cause. If the console isn't recognizing your friend's account as the home console, you can attempt to
power cycle the console as already suggested, or have your friend sign into his account and check to ensure that they still show
as the home console.
