Xbox x dead already

my xbox one x is dead also microsoft said 15 working days to replace it so realy they said 23 days its all over the internet about them failing and they need to sort something out ive always had xbox but seems not worth it after this all the enhanced games
i have and its going to be some time after xmas that i will get to play on them with the holidays and all will be much longer than 23 day s

im wondering if its worth bothering having it replaced as from what i am reading they are all failing

if we get a refund do we get a refund on all the enhanced games we have purchased ? an answer from microsoft would be nice on this

Day one standard edition. Mine hasn't completely died, but after a few hours I'll get crash to dashboard or green artifacts during gameplay. Halo, GOW, Forza. If I let it cool off for half an hour, it'll play fine for the next 2-3 hours then crash and
artifacts again. Funny thing is I have the exact issues with games on PC if the GPU is overheating, getting into the 80+ degrees C range. With a ambient of 23 degrees c, my xbox one x is reading 74 degrees C with a temp probe on the heatsink fin from the
back. With the crappy TIM job and conservative fan speed vs temp, possibly from folks bitch'n bout fan noise, I bet you the APU is hitting 80-90 degrees c (higher with higher ambients) along with the system ram. No way the 1x is going to last long with those
temps. I betting in 4-5 months, if MS hasn't at least increased the fan speed with an update, x1x is going to be a **** storm that will be hitting a giant industrial fan... it's gonna be nasty. Only thing I can think of when others report theirs is fine
is the APU is made so well that only a few are being affected by heat (for now), or most peoples homes are a lot cooler than mine. I'm no engineer, so I could be completely wrong but then engineers are just people and they also gave us RROD.

Just a note.

My Xbox 1 X sits on top of my entertainment center. Has tons of space all around it. It's plugged directly into a wall outlet that I had an electrician install running to it's own 20 amp breaker. It was for my subwoofer amp but have gone dual subwoofers
for my home theater so I moved the subwoofer.

I don't think MS would have another RROD on hand. These things go through some insane testing after the RROD scenario and they did not cheap out any of the parts. Just some usual cases where the hard drives fail (well, It is a Seagate afterall) and bad
fitting for the power cords.I'm reading far and few between with issues after the few bad ones at launch. You will read more reports around XMas because those people will be opening them as gifts.

I hope you're right but it's not looking good. I have mine completely apart, with an extra fan on it and have been playing for over 6 hours without a single hick up. I'd be lucky with 30min of gameplay without a crash when I hadn't taken it apart. Waiting
for my fan accelerator adapter which should solve the problem. $500 isn't that big a deal for me so I'm going this route.

Mine freezes everytime, they sended me a replacement about 3 days after I called them (did a advance repair), my second one was working a whole day and then it started to freeze aswell.

So I did a advance repair again, they made a holder of 571,99 euro`s on my creditcard again and after 2 working days they still didnt sended me a new one.

Going to call them tomorrow again since they dont react on my emails. (got a Xbox One X Scorpio).
