Xbox x controller have issues

Hi,
I have an xbox x controller, a month ago he start to get stuck on my xbox
sometimes he works sometimes doesn't
tried to connect it via usb nothing works for me and my pc didn't recognize it
today he start to work to a longer times, so I went and try to update it on my xbox and on my pc via usb
but I have an issue the app cannot download the firmware not in my pc or my xbox
the error message is (I can't upload the image on the website):
"There was a problem
updating your controller
Sorry, there was problem downloading the update from the internet. Please try again later"
tried:
1. hard reset to my controller
2. update windows to the latest
3. I tried to update different controller and it did worked

what can I do, can I download somehow to firmware and install it on my controller
I can't revert my firmware, I think something happened on the latest update or something stuck
need help but please don't tell me to hard reset my xbox or to turn off my pc
already done that, and other controller works just fine!!!
give me something I can use, if I can download the firmware and install it manually will be the best maybe it will fix the controller issue.
I don't have warranty anymore on this controller

I'm sorry you're having this issue with your Xbox Series X controller.

Since you've tried several methods to fix the problem, your controller has a hardware issue. You need to take it to a service center so the technician can check what the issue is.

Thank you for the response but my controller is completely up to date. It actually just happened for the first time again with the xbox one x controller I was using. I think it's built in to the xbox series x/one x/one to stop recording if the controller is disconnected which causes this issue and makes the footage unusable. Not sure if you have a fix for that in particular but if not it seems it will continue to be an issue.

Hi,

Do you have any other Xbox One controllers? If these work, but your other controller does not then the issue can only be with this particular controller. Windows 20H2 does not have any compatibility issues with Xbox controllers, my Xbox One, Series X and 360 controllers still work fine.

Thank you for your reply, however it's happening on multiple controllers and this is my second Xbox One X that's having this issue... Controllers work fine on first gen Xbox One

Was using the standard xbox one x controller. Hopefully this can help someone else having similar issue
