Xbox won'toad dashboard after start up! Plus error message

I started up my Xbox one today and everything was fine some stuff didn't load correctly so I restarted my console and it went through the Xbox logo and everything, but then it didn't load the dashboard and a error message 0x80070490 came up which is for
problems with 360 not Xbox one. I can hit home and the error message pops up and occasionally I can see when my friends come online. I'm in the preview program, but I don't know if that's the problem or related... I need help and I don't know what to do.

Sorry, we could not start media player 0x87de2712 error

Getting that message plus 0x87de2712 error code when trying to start up the media player app on xbox one. Just returns to home screen every time. Any help appreciated

Xbox problem

No I didn't get any error message what my Xbox does is I'll put the game in and it will start but after 2-5 secs of loading the Xbox will cut out and return to the dashboard

Hello, with the Xbox powered off press and hold both the bind button (that's the small button on the left hand side of the Xbox ) and eject button, press the power button once to power the Xbox on keeping bind and eject held and you should get a troubleshooting
screen open up.

On that screen select the reset option, choose to keep your games & apps. When it's done you will need to do a few things such as adding your account back to the Xbox.

Hopefully that will get you back to gaming.

I got the Update error message too which returned me to the dashboard. I just started up the game with disc 2 still in the tray and it worked fine.

When i turn on my xbox it says no signal for few minutes then after that its says the error message. i can't go back or go the dashboard. it takes me straight to the error message.I'm stuck on that screen. if i take my hard drive out than message shows up
saying insert the hard drive then the update will continue. after that the system stopped updating message comes back.
