    Xbox wontload up


    While I was on YouTube on my Xbox one, the app froze so I turned my Xbox off and on to try and fix the problem and when turning it back on the Xbox wouldn't load up and simply stayed on the green loading screen for a while until it turned my screen black.
    I have turned it off and on several times since and the same problem as reoccurred each time. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    When my xbox froze it was after the BF update. So maybe there is a link between freezing at around the time when a patch comes out.

    Ok,thanks for the info. When you said that they were external I presued a different brand.

    If the console is acting up even with official hard drives then it may be in need of a repair. You can set one up at this link.

    hopefully its just from some kinda server maintenance on ea/dices end. i've been booted a few times from servers the past two days also, kinda like what happened when the game first came out. i'm already on my 4th xbox. however its kind of weird that anything
    they are doing would freeze the entire xbox, but then again sometimes when ms had issues in the past it would cause weird lockups for some people.

    Hey onyx62is,

    Tried a new HDD and the box froze up again. Without the external drive, boot up is fine. Put in either of the external drives and the box freezes up. Hard to believe 2 external drives are bad and that both give the same characteristics. What do ya think?

    It sounds like the issue may lie with the hard drive. Can you try removing the drive and see if you experience the same issue?
