    Xbox won't work properly?


    I turned my xbox on and it took me to the "Who's playing today" screen and it wouldn't let me select anything. After a few resets I got to the home screen but it isn't loading right. My pfp isn't there all the apps and games have a purple-ish cover and I don't know what to do

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Also, I would like to clarify, that you've mentioned that you have performed a reset, did you choose to remove everything or keep my games and apps?

    Are you in the Xbox Insider Preview program? I know there has been issues for sometime, where atmos won't work properly.

    What configuration is the console in? If it's vertical, as was supported by 360, then it needs to be horizontal. Xbox One won't work properly when on its end.
