Xbox won't work on hdmi

Hey umm I recently got a xbox 360 after years of playing psn, I've finally jumped ship across to xbox now my problem is that I can't even access my 'new' xbox on my tv, now the weird part is I connect my xbox into my tv in the lounge room tv via hdmi
it works perfectly. Now I take it to my bedroom to try access the game on my tv via hdmi in the room and no luck now the funny part is that it works on av can anyone help me pls it would be much appreciated I just want to play halo anniversary campaign...

everytime i get on my xbox it wont connect to my tv and i know its not a problem with my tv because my brother can connect using his xbox and i have tried multiple hdmi cords and when i press the home button once it turns on but i have to hold it for 10
seconds or unplug it for it to turn off

Since the console works with HDMI on another TV that at least rolls out an issue with the console its self.

I have a few things you could try:

• Remove any devices between the console and TV
• Swap the heads on your HDMI cable
• Try another HDMI cable
• Try another port on the TV

Hopefully one of these is able to fix the problem

Well you can try resetting the consoles display settings by:

1. Remove any discs from the disc tray.
2. Turn off the console.
3. Turn on the console.
4. As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.
