Xbox won't urn on with controllers after 24hours

Hi just recently I am unable to turn my xbox on with any of my two controllers after 24hrs, I have done all controller updates etc, When I go up and push the xbox icon on the xbox it starts and everything is fine but when it starts it is like I have done
a full system reboot, green screen xbox symbol the works, it never use to do this, when normal it just went to home screen straight away. I have it set for instant power on etc so not sure whats happened. Help please?

Battery packs

Hi teno1878, the controllers are a completely new design on the Xbox One and your rechargeable pack won't fit on the new controllers. The packs/battery compartment on the Xbox One controllers are flush with the controller and don't pop out. Also shaped horizontally.

 

Intermittent Controllers After Update

Another problem after the summer update. After working for about a day, my controllers won't communicate with the console unless I hard power cycle it. Pulling the batteries doesn't work and two controllers have the same problem.

It's the console.

Only started after the update. This update is a pile.

 

Can you try setting it to "Power Saving", rebooting it and then setting it back to "Instant On"

Failing that, is anything killing the mains power to your Xbox One? Is it getting turned off at the socket?

 

Have checked all connections power wise and all fine, if I turn it off then on in say 1 minute it works perfect, I will try changing the power save settings, only happened to me after last update weird.

 

Got sorted, as dumb as it sounds I unplugged it and all seems fine, man I seem to be doing this at least once a month to this consol for totally different reasons, starting to get a bit annoyed now.
