    xbox wont upload clips to xbox live or one drive


    My xbox wont upload clips to xbox live or one drive , I have multiple clips that I'm trying to get to computer from my xbox live or my one drive to edit but I can't because it just keeps saying unable to upload to Xbox live. And when I use game Dvr to try
    and send it to my one drive it won't work either. I'm not sure what to do I've tried everything I know

    clips wont upload to xbox live

    clips won't upload anywhere. Not to Xbox live nor on one drive, and my storage is empty.

    Have you checked you are looking on your Xbox rather than on Xbox live? As the default is uploaded clips on Xbox live it wont show clips that you havent uploaded till you use the drop down menu

    All the videos on your hard drive were uploaded to Xbox Live?

    There's no way to disable the auto-delete system.

    The best way to keep those clips is, install the Xbox app on your laptop or pc. Then on your console go to your captures and upload them to one drive and upload them to live. Then go to the Xbox app on pc or laptop click on the captures and scroll through
    what is live and download the clips to your pc or laptop in a file.

    Manage storage on xbox console has useful information to assist you.

    There is only a limited amount of Internal disc space reserved for capturing clips and screenshots, not the whole 1TB that comes with the console.

    If you upload your clips etc to Xbox Live you wont need to keep them on your internal drive.

    Alternatively you could set up another external drive, formatted to NTFS, and set your capture location to it. Be aware that capturing clips etc to an external drive means you wont be able to share them to Xbox Live.
