    hey guys!

    in short..

    I want to update my xbox to the latest version

    and am not connected to xbox live at the moment and can't for a while..

    so I went for downloading it on a USB, downloaded $systemupdate to the root

    and pluged it to my console but Nothing showed up, and i've restarted it while the usb is pluged in a couple of times

    i've tried the CD method as well, but still it won't boot up!!

    is there anyway that i can do the update manually ? i mean extract them ??

    please help ASAP

    Hi Unbeatable95 I suggest doing the update when you have broadband internet from a network provider dont put the update on a USB nor a disk im just saying just to get internet first and connecting to Xbox live and then do your update.

    Hi, it vital that the USB flash drive is formatted to the FAT32 file format and that you extract the $systemupdate folder from the update file you download to your PC directly onto the flash drive. Do not download the update file onto the flash drive or
    simply copy the file across from your PC. There should be nothing on the flash drive other than the $systemupdate folder..

    If your console doesn't recognise the update it could be that the console is already updated to the latest version of the system software.

    the problem was with the same USB, i have changed it and things are okay now.. thanks a lot Xbox WON'T UPDATE!! please help! :D

    I cant stream my Xbox to my Windows 10 Xbox app anymore after Operating system update.

    So i deleted my recent Windows updates and it still won't connect. I'm guessing its the XBOX APP update that won't connect to my Xbox IP address. I can't find a a way to roll back the XBOX app update to see if thats the issue.

    Please Help! I've been giving the XBOX app 5 star rating for a full month and this change happens and my stream down't work anymore is downright disappointing.
