    Xbox won't update. Hasn't since December 10


    My console hasn't updated since December 10th, 2016. I have been in the preview program for a year and six months and my console has daily update checks as well, still nothing. Somebody please help me.

    Xbox One won't open anything unless I perform a hard reset

    Instant On has been broken since the December update, annoyingly Microsoft won't even acknowledge it, let alone fix it.

    Actually it is acknowledged by Microsoft. There is a message somewhere that confirms that. I saw it in the Xbox preview app in the announcements. They are working on a fix at this time.

    They've recently changed the way preorders are handled through the store. Since you paid with a bank card, you won't be charged until about 10 days before the game is released. Since you haven't been charged yet, that may be why it hasn't downloaded.
