    Xbox wont turn on after update


    Hi,

    I just turned my xbox one S on for the first time in about 2 years.. Everything was working fine and then i connected to the internet and it said i needed to install some updates. It was 3 gigs worth.

    I put it on and after about 5 mins it was only about 15% through so i walked away. Came back about 45 mins later and i just had the source: HDMI 1 screen. So the console was off. I assumed the update had finished and when i went to turn it on the white xbox
    logo lights up for about 3 or 4 seconds, then i get a double beep and it turns back off.. I cant get it to stay on anymore?

    Anyone have any ideas? Or has something similar happened to anyone else?

    Controllers wont turn on after xbox update

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If this is happening with multiple controllers the issue can be the console. To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    I would say that if you are having problems with the controller after completing all the troubleshooting steps on

    Troubleshoot your Xbox One Wireless Controller    , then I would probably contact
    customer support
    directly so that they can outline what offers they have for service of the controller.
