    Xbox wont turn on after power outage


    Xbox will chime then turn right back off. Ive tried unplugging the brick for an hour and no luck. Ive tried different outlets in the house with no luck. Ive tried another power brick all together and it still does the same thing. Any ideas?

    After Power Outage, Xbox One Won't Turn On

    After a recent power outage during a storm, my xbox ine wont turn on. After I plug in the AC adapter, the xbox one fan inside the console spins up feal fast, then when I try to turn it on, three xbox one light go and makes a noise, but shuts off right afterwards.
    If someonw could help that would be great. Also I have a third party AC Adapter

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try leaving it off with all cables unplugged overnight and see if it works in the morning?

    If it does not then you may need to set up a repair of the console.

    Thanks for the reply! I've tried power cycling and trying other wall outlets, but nothing has worked. The power supply still stays solid orange. I think I'm going to look for a replacement and hopefully that's it, I don't think there's much more I can do as is.

    Ah, these seems like it may be the issue. I'm gonna look for a replacement to see if it was just the power supply, and hopefully not the console itself. Thanks!
