    Xbox won't stop reminding me that Cortana is no longer supported


    Very frequently my xbox picks up stray sounds (through Kinect), thinks I'm trying to use Cortana, and pops up a message in the corner to tell me that Cortana isn't supported on Xbox, and plays a little sound.

    I'm not trying to use Cortana, I never have. The system is just way too sensitive in assuming I want to, and is picking up random noises. This is happening often-- a half-dozen times or more already this evening alone.

    Please let me somehow acknowledge that I understand that cortana doesn't exist so I don't get that popup message anymore. For example, this could be done in the Cortana settings menu that currently just has a message stating the feature is gone.

    I DO still use the old "Xbox Play/Pause", etc. commands, so I'd like to not have to turn the Kinect off entirely.

    In all honesty i don't like to use Cortana on the Xbox because it will distract your game play or distracted by playing online Games.

    Yes reset your console and check the new privacy settings there is a bunch of setting you might want to adjust

    Hello there have you tried these following steps 1. Sign out and sign back in 2. Reset you're console twice.
