Xbox won’t start

Discus and support Xbox won’t start in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I load up my xbox green screen comes on as asual but then its just a black screen but i can hold down the home button and it comes up with the option...     Xbox won’t start


    I load up my xbox green screen comes on as asual but then its just a black screen but i can hold down the home button and it comes up with the option to to turn off xbox is there any way to help this?

    Hi Harrison,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues where your Xbox does not boot in the home screen. You shared that you're receiving error E102.

    This means there may have been a problem when your Xbox console tried to install the latest console OS (operating system) update.

    1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    4. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    Note: The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does not have an EJECT button. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the BIND button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button .

    5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

    My xbox doesn't connect to the TV its been using for over a year, and turns itself off after exactly a minute(I timed it).

    Hi, sorry to hear that problem.

    You can try to disconnect completely power supply from console and wall plug. Let it rest about 10 minutes.

    After that period retry, if nothing changed, ask a friend to test his power supply on your console and viceversa, your power supply in his console, so you can see if the problem follow the power supply or is in the console itself.
