    Xbox won't start up


    Hello, so the issue I'm facing occurred just today when I plugged in my Xbox one and turned it on, being welcomed by the opening screen, but later learned that it stays in that screen for up to 10 minutes and then makes the noise for being in the home
    screen, only to be stuck in a grey screen and when pressing the home button to get to the tabs makes the screen a darker grey but with nothing else happening, and it keeps doing this no matter how many times I hard reset or keep unplugged for a reasonable
    amount of time, but to no avail. If anyone here has any advice that would be great, and yes I tried several times to call Xbox Customer services but it just scares me every time with the loud and rapid beeping, not related but, makes me only more annoyed.

    clear your cache.

    You can do this by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds.

    Retry afterwards.

    I have the same problem! Since the second to last Insider update my Xbox won't turn on after an update attempt during the night. Power brick is bright orange, while the Xbox is in instant on power mode. When I press the xbox logo it tries to play the start
    up tune but it doesn't and nothing happens. Only way to get it to boot is to unplug the power brick, let it rest for a while, unplug all USB devices and plug the power brick back in. After booting up, manually start the update again, and when it's finished
    plug all USB devices back in. And after that I have no problem booting anymore untill the next update attempt during the night.

    Try select Game square and then press "Menu" button (3 lines) and select "Quit" and if it didnt work, you can also go to "Settings" Tab and select "Restart" you console will restart and then try again starting the game
