Xbox won't sign in to account

Normally I don't need to sign into my Xbox account since I have the setting to keep me logged in turned on, but suddenly it locked me out.

Everytime I turn on my Xbox I get the sign in prompt, to which I use the correct password and it says "singing in". My Xbox will then go to the home screen with my games and apps but it will say at the corner to press the hole button to sign in. I put in my password yet it still does not sign in. It will take my password and "load" but won't actually sign in to the account.

If I go into my game I will be stuck in a constant loop of it asking for me to sign into my account but won't actually let me sign in. I know it's the right password, as it says "please use the password assigned to the Microsoft account" if I use the wrong password. I have no idea what is causing my Xbox to not log in but I have no access to my games now.

Hi,

in such a case a soft factory reset most often helps.

Go to the settings - system - console info.

If you perform the reset you can keep the games and settings but every account will be removed.. In the end you'll just need your account email and password to download your profile anew.

This should do it.

Xbox one won't let me sign in at all on any profiles at all and it doesn't pop up any errors and when I click on my account to sign in it won't do anything it just goes back to the home and won't sign in.

If the account is linked, you just need to sign into your epic account. You won't need to sign into your xbox account on your phone.

Same over here, I'm able to sign into other accounts on my xbox but it won't let me sign into my primary account.

The only reason it shouldn't work is if Two-factor authentication is enabled on the account that won't sign in or the account you're trying to sign in to is banned from xbox live.

Xbox won't sign in to account
