Xbox won’t run games and shutting off

My original xbox has been randomly shutting off while i’ve been gaming. It turns completely off, and then my Xbox will only power on for 1 sec before turning back off again. The power supply LED is usually orange or off. I was on this thread
earlier and i temporarily fixed it by cleaning the vents and moving my Xbox too a more ventilated area. I had a suspicion that my Xbox won’t run large games because it kept shutting off when I was playing RDR2, so I tested it. I watched Hulu for about 2 hours
and my Xbox was fine. Then I booted up red dead and I didn’t even load into my game until my Xbox shut completely off.

Has anyone had this problem, or has any ideas how I might fix this? I’m open to anything.

Can you use another power supply to test it? I had to replace mine on my old xbox one, as did my son after we had issues with it not powering on.

They worked fine with new power box and if you can check at least you will know the issue?

That does sound like a ventalation issues, just make sure that there isn't anything covering the vents of the console itself,
or the powerbrick, I'd suggest leaving it off for a day or so and then come back to it.

Have you noticed any abnormal noises coming from the console?

I'd advise against opening the power supply yourself

No noises, and i left it for a day and it booted up fine. I put the xbox on power saver settings as well. I spent a few hours updating games and it seemed to be running fine. I started playing red dead for anout 10 min and then it shut off again.

i think its something to do with the power supply, but i cant open it because i dont have the right screw driver for it.
