Xbox won't restart - constant E100

    Xbox won't restart - constant E100


    So a while back someone broke my xbox. At first it was lagging when loading, then wouldn't go past the green start up screen, then wouldn't do anything on the screen (but fans came on). After reading about it, I decided to get a new hard drive which I installed today.

    After putting the system on the new hard drive, it installed up until the xbox had to restart and then I kept getting error E100.

    I have: restarted the console -> it won't restart, just goes back to "something went wrong, system error E100".

    Tried to factory reset, both through troubleshoot and hard restart -> it just goes back to "something went wrong, system error E100".

    Tried the Off-line system update -> it loads the update up to 2/3, where it needs to restart but it can't, end up on the "something went wrong, system error E100".

    Is there anything I can do to save this xbox?

    Hi I suspect you may be in the preview program, If so then this is a known issue and being looked at.
