    Xbox won't reset


    Okay, to start things off, I was playing bf1 one night and it said it needed to update. So I updated it and all went smooth but as soon as I launched the game again everything would take forever to load. I turned my Xbox off and then on, the problem continued.
    I ended up just turning it off and trying again in the morning. Nope. Now it didnt even want to load, it gave me the green Xbox loading screen and after that it sent me to the troubleshoot screen. I tried to factory reset and it is now stuck on 66%. I've tried
    every single troubleshoot option and nothing works. I don't know what else to do.

    Xbox won't factory reset

    I bought an Xbox 360 2nd hand, and could not remove the old passcode. I contacted Xbox support yesterday and received the Factory reset code.

    I have entered the code, the Xbox restarts and it has not changed anything. Also, I went through and deleted all the users and old game info but it just returns upon restart.

    How do I reset everything and delete past users history?

    Had the same **** happn 2 me if it stuck on green screen bud press light on controler then wee black menu button on rite and quickly take battery out controler leave it till xbox starts up l left for 20 min till fully loaded dash in put contoler bats back
    in and put on again and went to settings and reset it and keep games and apps ...lol.now have to wait till wife watches lm a celebity to see if mine is fixed hope it helps

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Are you using an Xbox 360 or Xbox One? If the console is an Xbox One, we recommend

    power cycling the console     by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. After the power cycle is complete, we recommend attempting to reset the console again. Be sure to let us know the results!

    If you have followed all the steps in the Startup Error Troubleshooter and nothing has worked then unfortunately
    the only option left is a console repair. E106 indicates a hardware failure which is usually the hard drive. I'm sorry. If its covered under warranty still you can initiate the repair process from the devices page of your Microsoft account.
