Xbox won’t register New headset in new controller

Hi, need help please..

This is our last hope. We’ve tried everything from forums and microsoft trouble shooting and even readit to connect this headset to the xbox it just doest seem to register, weve tried,

cleaning the jack points,

reset with the cord into the xbox with the headsetattached

contoller update,

firmwareupdate

console update,

controller updates,

assigning controllers,

we have 3 contollers so tried them with all 3,

power cycles,

And a hard reset.

Also Our NAT is set to Open

Im at the end of my teather and ready to throw it away.. any new suggestions will be awesome..

Help me Obi Wan Kenobe, you’re my only hope...

got this brand new controller yesterday and have been using a headset and out of nowhere my headset just stops working and it’s not the headset it’s the controller because the headset works perfectly fine on my old controller and now whenever I plug in my
headset on my new controller it makes a loud staticky noice and won’t work

 

Xbox One Chat Headset not turning on

BOught a stereo headset as well as a new controller. wouldn't you know- the old headset works fine with the new controller and the new headset doesn't work with old controller.

Problem- DEAD controller headset port.

Hey, sorry forgot to add it was working for 3 hours and then stopped.

 

Hi, how do i do this? Erase cache for the system or on each game?

We understand this situation can be frustrating and want to help as best as we can. So the headset is not working with three different controllers but it was working at one point for 3 hours? What type of headset is being used currently? (brand such as Turtle
Beach, Afterglow, etc. / Stereo or chat)

Also, please try another headset on the controllers to make sure the controllers' ports are working properly. By the way, does it give an error message starting up party chat with no one else in the party?
