Xbox won’t record clips

I've been having the same problem for like two weeks and I c

keep restarting the Xbox to find that it still occurs

Restarting your xbox generally takes these problems away. Sometimes things bug out with all of these downloads going on with huge amount of gigs. Especially during game sessions.

I don’t think you can fix it. The reason you can hear them is because the chat is in the game and mixed with the game’s audio (unless your squad is in xbox live party). Your voice is input and doesn’t come out of your speaker, thus not being recorded.
The same thing applies to your squad mates. If one of them records a clip, your voice will be heard in the clip but the person recording won’t.

What about regular game chat how do I fix the issue with that because even clipping video with the record that feature won’t include any game chat audio

Im trying to record game clips on my xbox and the xbox records the wrong things, eg i should be recording a 15 second long clip but it is showing it as 6 seconds not the full length

You can change the length of the clips to be recorded in the settings.
If you want longer clips I recommend increasing the time to maybe 30 seconds.
