    Xbox won't read my gta v


    My xbox reads my gta at times and most the time it won't read my gta v. Why won't it read my gta v?

    Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. I want you not to worry about the situation because I am here to help you out! Since you have used "read" describing the situation I am assuming that you have the disc version of the game. If that's the
    case, I believe your console might need either a network reset or just a system refresh. I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

    If needed or if it’s dirty or scratched, wipe the disc with a soft, clean, slightly damp cloth. Hold the disc by the edges without touching the top or bottom faces, then re-insert it and try launching again

    => You will need to troubleshoot it by pressing the Xbox button to
    open the guide, selecting Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections,
    and then selecting Blu-ray. Under the Blu-ray settings
    you will find Persistent storage, you need to clear it multiple times.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you
    to sign in to the account.

    Just to let everyone know, unless you don't already know, that GTA V Online won't be availalble on launch on GTA V but will be 2 weeks or something after the game is released. That's what I read online..

    I agree with Bootstrap, you won't even be hearing of a new GTA in the next few years, I expect to hear about other series like Read Dead Redemption instead. Plenty of milking left to be done with GTA V.
