Xbox won't read my external HDD

Discus and support Xbox won't read my external HDD in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I formatted my 2TB Drive for NTFS on my chromebook, when I plug it into my Xbox, It gives a Format Device screen, I want to use my drive for captures...     Xbox won't read my external HDD


    I formatted my 2TB Drive for NTFS on my chromebook, when I plug it into my Xbox, It gives a Format Device screen, I want to use my drive for captures so I choose Use for Media. It doesn't give a notification that says its ready. My drive blinks for a couple of seconds and then stops, then it doesn't do anything else, I have already power cycled, and restarted.

    Huh

    Chromebook can't format to ntfs you need a windows system for that

    You can format to exfat or fat 32 that's it

    Chromebooks don't support ntfs except thru an app and not for formating

    Only reading with limitations

    Why do games take hours to install on my Xbox One?

    The read time/speed of the HDD is obviously terrible. If you had an external HDD with USB 3.0 and a better read speed, games would load and install much faster than on the internal HDD of the Xbox One. I can't wait for my external HDD to come in. I am going
    to move all the larger games to that.

    I am really glad that you won't have to re-install games if your Xbox One goes bad :)

    I am going to have to transfer all of my installed game stuff to my External HDD when I eventually get it :)

    Can I transfer the stuff from the Xbox One HDD to the External HDD without having to delete the game and re-install it to the External HDD?
