Xbox won't read any disc

    Xbox won't read any disc


    When i insert the disc into the xbox, it will just do some buzzing sound and won't do anything, then when i click the button next to it to insert it out, it does the buzzing sound stops for a second and runs out, (i mean the disc), this is for any disc, i got cod from my friend and i putted it into my xbox, but it won't do anything (xbox one)

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please make sure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Wipe it with a microfiber cloth and try again.

    And then perform a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts down, then unplug it for a few minutes before restarting.

    Next is to check for updates. Ensure that your Xbox system software is up to date.

    Then clear persistent storage. To do this, go to Settings > Devices & Streaming > Blu-ray > Persistent Storage and clear it.

    After that is to test another game or movie disc to see if the issue is with the console or the specific disc.

    No disc read errors. Just backcompat error. Disc 1 reads and installs fine. There are not deviations on any of the discs. Just two and three won't work.

    A Series S doesn't have a disc drive, so it won't read any discs.

    That game is not backwards compatible so it won't work on a newer console.
