Xbox won't read a disc

    Xbox won't read a disc


    hey . My Xbox is less than a year old and it's not reading my disc

    Example:

    I put a brand new nba 2k17 in and it dosent even display the message saying "sorry we can't read this disc" then I try to play it and it asked "do you own this game?"



    Please help

    Xbox won't read disc

    Got Mass Effect Andromeda. Tried updating my Xbox One, says it's up to date, put disc in while online and offline, it won't read. Did a hard reset a couple times. Still won't read the disc.

    Xbox won't read a disc

    Hey there!

    When you say you got a new one, do you mean a new disc or a new Xbox One console? Generally if your console isn't playing discs, that's not a good sign. You can check to see if it will read Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games or DVD's (not Blu-Rays) and if
    so, then the issue would seem to be isolated to the Blu-Ray aspect of the disc drive. Either way, that would indicate a disc drive that is starting to fail.

    If you would like to explore/consider the repair option, you can do so via the
    Online Service Center.

    My xbox one wont read disks or run downloaded games and i have a warranty what do i do

    My Xbox took 4 or 5 try's to read a disc but now (as soon as I got Forza 6) won't read any disc.

    Xbox won't read discs

    You can either take the disc back for a replacement from where ever you bought it or if you want the digital version you would have to buy it again.
