Xbox won’t power up

So idk whats going on with my sons xbox. When i oush the boyton to turn it on it makes the sound and the light turns on briefly but it doesnt stay on. Ive tried using different outlets, ive unplugged everything, ive even purchased a new power cord. Please
help if u can

Ya I'm thinking your consoles motherboard is probably fried I could understand not spending money on another system because the new xbox comes next year but atleast consoles are going for about 250 dollars now

This has happened to me as well. Honestly its Microsofts fault. Ive had an error screen for weeks. And then my xbox wont power on like yours. Others have simular problems. If they never updated the OS in August, your sons xbox and mine and plenty of others
wouldnt be faced with this problem.

Since you told us that the power supply is working it might be an internal problem of the Xbox console itself.

register your console via the
My devices page on your Microsoft account. Once this is done you should be able to see additional options to create a service order for the device.
