Xbox wont power on

So last night it randomly shut off in the middle of the night it got kind of cold in the house, not sure if that has anything to do with it. But this morning when i try to turn it on it dings flashes for a second then nothing happens. I hit the eject disk
it makes a sound nothing happens. the brick flashes white when i try to power on the device then goes back to orange. Any suggestions, I live in bfe so sending it back is kind of a hassel

Hi renewed- You should not- Your game saves are saved in the cloud (as long as you played signed in and on a network) when you sign into the new unit, you will have to install your games and apps but you game saves will be there. the first section of this

Do you have a friend that you could borrow their Power Supply to check? that way if its the power supply, you don't have to send the whole console back, and you would only be dealing with a PSU, hence no downloading of games over satellite....just an idea

Called support yesterday, it seriously looks like a faulty PSU now. Testing the console on another PSU was what they suggested too. Going to test my machine on my nephew's PSU today. Will report back how it goes.

 

My apologies, I thought this was my thread. I made one with the same title on Thursday. I think mine is a faulty PSU. Perhaps this is what has happened to the OP's console?

 

I see how you could mix up the threads. LOL there are two with the same name. No big deal! Seems as the other poster may have a faulty PSU as well. Let us know how checking your PSU on another console goes!
