    Hey Bill! It's Shaun. I just got home from Afghanistan, and my Xbox one won't play any of my discs. It just keeps making the same weird sound. Heeeelp me! Thanks Bill, I know you'll do what you can.

    It goes to the xbox dashboard but it won't let play a game either one from a disc or saved on my console. It also won't play apps

    Minecraft disc not being read.

    My minecraft disc has been working fine for the past year until now. My Xbox won't read the disc. All I can do now is play the demo which is BORING!

    Xbox 360 discs no longer work on Xbox One X

    Hi,

    You've said you've tried blu-ray discs and Xbox One discs but have you tried DVD discs?

    Xbox 360 games are on DVD and my guess is that DVD won't play either.

    The reason why they won't play is that DVD diode for reading these discs has failed. Other discs work because that laser diode is still working.

    Try a DVD disc. If it does not work you'll need a repair.

    Unfortunately didn't work although some of my Blurays sometimes play. My son is going to take the discs that won't play to try on his mates Xbox one.

    I get error code 0x8082000c when I try to play my xbox 360 disc on the xbox one. Says it won't play, but the game is backwards compatible. Why?

    I just wanted to join the conversation.....having the same issues, my xbox says it doesn't need any updates...the disc plays fine on my brother's xbox.......played ONCE on my xbox on Christmas day and then the second time we tried to play it and thereafter,

    took it back and got another disc, same issue

    think i'm about to return this 2nd disc and just buy the new Halo - VERY aggravating!!!
