    Xbox won't peform offline update


    My xbox won't perform offline update. I have followed all troubleshooting steps for the E101 Error but somehow when I select the offline update it wont start. The screen would just return to the menu. Can anyone help with this?

    my xbox one x won't download system update. I have factory reset it and tried to do a offline update too, but with no luck.

    I got this error code when doing offline update. Error code: E101000005048B050041

    incredibly slow disk installs

    I take the Xbox One offline in the network settings, the disc installs much quicker as it won't update, then I update it, if there is an update.

    Hi! I'm afraid that once you go online the xbox will detect updates and so won't be possible to use non updated games offline.

    As Genesis1953 said above you can put your console into offline mode or you could just remove your internet settings from the console then it won't connect to the internet at all and go into offline mode that way but obviously if you do this you won't be
    able to receive any updates from Xbox to have an updated console
