Xbox won't open games, and select apps.

Since yesterday 19/20 my Xbox hasn't opened any games except Destiny. You can select a game hit A then nothing happens. It will make a noise like you pressed A but nothing will happen. This happens to most the 'buttons' in the dashboard, they just don't
respond. Something else is if you try opening from the game Hub the notification will pop up saying "Just getting your game ready" for about half a second , then repeat like a strobe light. I have the preview program by the way, but since that forum has seem
to have disappeared I am posting here. I have tried to do a hard reset, unplugging and all other manual options. The nearest video i can find to my problem is this video but
the fix does not work for me.

Help would be appreciated

Games & Apps won't open

Hi so my xbox one has been having trouble turning on. It takes about 10-15 minutes to start and even then the dashboard isn't completely loaded in. The system will not let me make any actions with the controller but instead after an additional 5-10 minutes
it attempts to open the Games & Apps application and ultimately fails. when I try to show help, the help app also fails to open, and then I get a frozen black screen. This has been going on for at least 2 weeks now.

recently unlocked achievements and have been able to generally access Xbox Live content. Are you still experiencing issues or are you good to go now?

Hi there,since you are on the preview program try to update your dashboard. There is a new update out there that fixed similar issues I had the last couple of days!

Have you tried to power cycle your console?

Please make sure you follow all steps mentioned below (especially step 3):

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

I see, have you tried resetting the console too? This won't delete your games or apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.
Select Reset and keep my games & apps

Hello again, as you've already done a reinstall of the game, try doing a system reset by keeping games and Apps.

Resetting Keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.
